At DogHouse Groomers we understand that all dogs have different personalities and some are more nervous and timid than others. We specialise in grooming nervous dogs and you would have the option of booking appointments for your timid dog were there would be no other dogs in the salon. We also encourage nervous dogs to visit us a couple of times before their groom appointment so they can get used to the salon and meet our staff prior to their appointment. Once your dog arrives for their appointment we will spend time with them one on one before the groom starts so we can calm them and gain their trust.

Our Process
1) Consultation/Health Check
Discuss with the owner the condition of the dog's coat and skin and which style they would like to go ahead with. Would they like personality cut or a breed standard. The condition of the coat is checked for matting and the skin is checked for irritation. Check for underlying health issues.
2) Bath
Specialist products are used depending on the skin type and colour of the fur. Suitable for dogs with sensitive skin. Include massage through with coat conditioner.
3) Dry
Dry using specialist ion dryer which conditions the coat whilst it dries.
4) Style
Bespoke styling services. Breed standard or personality cut as discussed in consultation. Includes hair products and pawfume.
